Chrob ou Chuf fountain view, Marrakech Photo Gallery

Chrob ou Chuf fountain is one of the cities oldest working public fountains. Amazingly decorated in carved dark wood, Chrob ou Chuf fountain is located not far from Ben Youssef Mosque just before Bab Taghzout Street. Due to its important historicity, the fountains is one of the monuments selected to be listed in Marrakech UNESCO sites since 1985. Chrob ou Chuf is a phrase in Moroccan Arabic darija dialect and means “Drink and Admire”. The Chrob ou Chuf phrase can be seen graved on the fountain. Photo of Chrob ou Chuf fountain view below.
